Morocco Unveils Next-Generation Tourism Pavilion for World's Leading Travel Fairs

Morocco's National Tourist Office (ONMT) has launched an international call for tenders to design, develop, operate and manage a new-generation Morocco Pavilion, as the Kingdom seeks to strengthen its global tourism promotion strategy and expand the international reach of its tourism industry.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ONMT said the new concept will debut in 2027 across the world's seven leading tourism trade fairs, serving as a flagship platform to promote Morocco in its priority markets while creating new business opportunities for Moroccan tourism operators.

The initiative forms part of Morocco's broader strategy to reinforce its position as a leading global tourism destination by providing Moroccan professionals with a dedicated business environment designed to maximize commercial opportunities and support the sector's economic growth.

The pavilion will be organized into three main sections. A Main Zone will host Moroccan tourism operators, Regional Tourism Councils (CRTs), the national carrier and cultural entertainment. A Regional Immersion Zone will offer visitors an interactive journey through Morocco's tourist regions with a unique immersive design tailored to each international exhibition. A Premium Partners Zone will showcase hotel groups, destination management companies (DMCs) and inbound travel agencies.

For the first time, the Morocco Pavilion will also be opened to the country's entire tourism value chain, allowing restaurants, tourist transport providers, excursion companies, outdoor leisure specialists and cultural experience creators to promote their services to international tourism professionals.

Visitors will experience Morocco through an immersive concept highlighting ten flagship themes: culture, the desert, ocean experiences, city breaks, nature and trekking, seaside tourism, sports, handicrafts, gastronomy, and the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) sector.

The pavilion will be showcased at seven of the tourism industry's most influential international events: FITUR in Madrid, ITB Berlin, the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, ITB China in Shanghai, IFTM Top Résa in Paris, the World Travel Market in London and IBTM World in Barcelona.

According to the ONMT, these exhibitions attract hundreds of thousands of tourism professionals, thousands of exhibitors and key decision-makers each year, offering Morocco a strategic platform to strengthen its global visibility and attract new tourism and investment opportunities.
