The Moroccan soccer team has maintained its 24th spot in the FIFA world rankings, released Thursday, while retaining its 2nd continental place.
The Atlas lions have gained 4.46 points, totaling 1551 points compared to the ranking of last February. Senegal is ranked 20th in the world and remains the leader in Africa.
Nigeria, which has moved up two spots (30th) is now in 3rd position on the continent, ahead of Egypt (32nd), Tunisia (35th), Cameroon (37th), Algeria (44th), Mali (51st), Côte d'Ivoire (51st), and Burkina Faso (56th).
Brazil is the number one best team in the world, followed by Belgium, France, Argentina, England, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Netherlands, making the top 10.
