A total of 263,550 Moroccans were affiliated to social security in Spain by the end of August, 2021, according to official figures.
Moroccans top foreign non-EU workers affiliated to social security in Spain, ahead of the Chinese (104,339), the Spanish ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security said Thursday in a release.
As for the number of foreigners who were affiliated to social security in the same period, it has reached 2,220,097 up by 0.3% compared to the month before.
The number of Moroccans living legally in Spain reached 771,683 in July, 2020, up by 1.4% compared to January 2020, according to the National Statistics Institute.
