Remittances sent by Moroccans living abroad amounted to 71.88 billion dirhams (DH) in the first nine months of 2021, compared to 50.46 billion dirhams in the same period last year, the Exchange office said.
These remittances increased by 42.5% (21.42 Bln DH), the Exchange Office noted in its September report.
The balance of trade in services shows a rise of 4.9% (46.53 Bln DH) for the first time since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the Exchange Office pointed out.
Exports improved by 6.7% to stand at 101.25 Bln DH at the end of September 2021, while imports increased by 8.3% (54.71 Bln DH).
