A meeting for the presentation and promotion of the new brand of investment and export of Morocco, "Morocco Now", was held recently in Mexico City at the initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom in Mexico.
The event was attended by a host of guests from the public and private sectors, the business community and civil society and media of the Latin American country, said the Embassy of the Kingdom in Mexico in a statement sent to MAP.
Speaking on this occasion, the Moroccan ambassador to Mexico, Abdelfattah Lebbar, highlighted the political and macroeconomic stability enjoyed by the Kingdom as the main attraction of foreign investment, as well as the structuring projects and reforms carried out during the last decade, in accordance with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, aimed at further liberalizing the economy and strengthening its competitiveness.
Lebbar also highlighted the position of the Kingdom as a leader in the transition to a green economy, through a long-term strategy to make renewable energy a real driver of the economy.
In this regard, the diplomat stressed that Morocco has taken new steps in its energy independence through the construction of many wind, solar and water stations throughout the country.
