The Moroccan government program has dedicated more than 3 billion dirhams for the year 2022, in favor of employment and entrepreneurship initiatives at the national level, said Monday in Agadir, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri.
"Interesting funds are devoted to urgent initiatives aimed at employment for young people and the promotion of business creation," said Sekkouri in a statement to the press after a meeting with the Wali of the Souss-Massa Region, Governor of the Agadir-Ida Outanane Prefecture, Ahmed Hajji.
The Minister said that the purpose of his visit to Souss-Massa is to launch consultations to enhance regional and local initiatives in employment and entrepreneurship.
These initiatives encouraging employment and entrepreneurship will be implemented in coordination with the various stakeholders, noted Sekkouri, highlighting in this sense, the various job opportunities that offers the Souss-Massa Region.
Priority will be given to those affected by the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic health crisis, especially youth, he stressed.
