With its dynamic economy and young, motivated workforce, Morocco represents an ideal market for the expansion of American franchises, U.S. Consul General in Casablanca, Marissa Scott, said on Wednesday.
"Thanks to a stable and attractive investment climate, several American brands have already successfully expanded into Morocco," Scott said during the launch of the Morocco Franchise Exhibition 2025, organized by the Moroccan Franchise Federation.
Highlighting the Moroccan market’s potential for American businesses, she emphasized that the collaboration between American franchises and Moroccan entrepreneurs contributes to job creation and strengthens economic ties between the two countries.
"With the growing demand for diverse products and services, the franchise model provides an effective platform for business development," she stressed.
She also reaffirmed the U.S. mission's commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and businesses seeking to expand their reach, whether through franchising or other innovative models.
