Morocco's King Mohammed VI Receives UAE President in Rabat

Morocco's King Mohammed VI received Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in Rabat on Tuesday during the Emirati leader’s private visit to Morocco.

According to a statement issued by the Royal Office, the meeting provided an opportunity for the two leaders to exchange views and consult on a number of international issues and challenges, particularly those concerning the Gulf region and the broader Middle East.

The Royal Office said the talks took place within the framework of the strong fraternal ties that unite the leaders of the two countries, as well as the close relations between the Moroccan Royal Family and the UAE’s ruling family, which are characterized by mutual esteem and ongoing coordination.

The statement added that the meeting reflects the depth of the strategic partnership, fruitful cooperation, and effective solidarity that underpin relations between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates.

It also highlighted the shared commitment of both leaders to further strengthen cooperation and advance ties between the two brotherly nations across various fields.
