The Rabat Criminal Chamber in charge of terrorism cases on Wednesday handed verdicts ranging from to 2 to 8 years in prison to two suspects sued in terrorism-related cases.
The court confirmed the eight-year sentence and the MAD 40,000 fine imposed on S.O, following his conviction for "forming a criminal gang to prepare and perpetrate terrorist acts" and "apology of terrorist acts constituting a terrorist crime."
It also confirmed the two-year sentence pronounced by a first instance court against A.S, convicted of "apology of terrorist acts constituting a terrorist crime” and “propaganda of a terrorist organization".
