Morocco to open vaccination centers on Sundays to accelerate campaign against Covid-19

COVID-19 vaccination centers in Morocco will be open throughout the week, including Sunday, as part of the acceleration of the national vaccination operation, the Health ministry announced on Friday.

"As part of the acceleration of the national vaccination operation and with the aim of enabling people over 40 who have not yet received their doses to benefit from the operation, vaccination centers will be open on Sunday," the ministry pointed out in a press release.

Concerned citizens are called upon to go to the vaccination centers every day of the week, including Sunday. With a view to consolidating achievements made by Morocco thanks to the national vaccination campaign and safeguarding the health and safety of citizens, the Ministry stresses the need to continue to respect preventive measures, before, during and after vaccination against "this lethal virus" in order to contribute to efforts aimed at curbing the spread of the pandemic, in particular after the discovery of new variants.
