The health authorities in Morocco have succeeded to immunize more than 5 million people against Covid-19 so far, during the constant vaccination campaign.
According to the daily report on the Coronavirus situation in Morocco, the Ministry of Health said on Friday, that the number of people who are fully vaccinated (1st and 2nd doses) up to Mai 28, 2021 at 04 p.m., reached 5,216,171.
The same source added that the number of people who received the first dose of the vaccine until the same date reached 8,434,323.
Morocco is still until now the first African nation to record these numbers in terms of vaccination, while there is no African country has yet reached the ceiling of 3 million in terms of the number of people who received the first dose of vaccine.
In addition to that, Morocco was the first African nation to kick off the national campaign against Covid-19, and that was on Jan 28, 2021.
