The Moroccan authorities have decided to extend the suspension of flights with more than ten countries until April 10, 2021, due to the pandemic situation related to Coronavirus strains.
The concerning countries that Morocco extends the suspension of flights with its airports are Belgium, UK, Netherland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Poland, Norway, Finland, Greece, Lebanon, and Kuwait.
The decision comes as part of Morocco’s efforts to fight the spread of new strains of Coronavirus, especially that those countries have recorded many cases of Coronavirus variants.
The Moroccan authorities, after 15 days, revise the pandemic situation, and based on that, it decides what the decision will be taken about the air links with other countries.
So far, Morocco has recorded least than 30 cases of the Coronavirus variants; for this reason, it tries hard to fight any rise in the number of cases.
