The President of Iraq has extended an invitation to King Mohammed VI to attend the upcoming Arab Summit, which will be hosted by the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on May 17, 2025.
According to the Moroccan News Agency (MAP), Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, acting on instructions from King Mohammed VI, received today, Wednesday, the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister, Mohammad Ali Tamim, who delivered a message from Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.
The same source reported that during the bilateral meeting, the Iraqi envoy handed Bourita an official invitation to attend the 34th regular session of the Arab Summit.
It is worth noting that Iraq is preparing to host the upcoming Arab Summit, where a number of key issues will be discussed, most notably the Palestinian cause.
