Production and sales in the industrial sector in Morocco declined in July 2021 compared to June, according to Bank Al-Maghrib's monthly survey.
The rate of production capacity use reached 71%, the survey showed, adding that production activities decreased, except in the "agri-food" and "chemicals and para-chemical" industry which recorded an increase and stagnation respectively.
Local markets were affected by the decline in sales, except for the "agri-food" sector which recorded an increase.
