Morocco still witnesses a heatwave with temperatures ranging between 40 and 48 degrees Celsius until Tuesday in several regions.
The Moroccan General Directorate of Meteorology issued a new weather alert saying that temperatures between 44 and 48 degrees will hit several provinces on Monday and Tuesday, including Tata, Assa Zag, Boujdour, Es-Semara, Aousserd, and Oued Eddahab.
Temperatures between 42 and 44 will also concern the provinces of Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Settat, Chichaoua, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Marrkechm Rehamna, Youssoufia, and Taroudant on Monday.
Similar weather will hit the provinces of Guercif, Taouant, Taza, Fquih Ben Salah, Beni Mellal, and Taroudant on Tuesday.
Recent weeks have marked scorching temperatures covering several provinces across Morocco.
