The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, exchanged messages of congratulations on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, celebrated on the same day.
The two ministers emphasized their mutual interest in continuing to develop and deepen the multidimensional and mutually beneficial cooperation between Morocco and Russia, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates.
They also confirmed the two countries' aspiration to maintain effective coordination in the field of foreign policy, in the interests of regional and international security and stability.
