The United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Defence on Monday confirmed the interception of a drone launched from Iran over the country’s territorial waters.
“The Ministry of Defence announced that the UAE Air Force responded to a UAV detected over the country’s territorial waters, approaching from Iran,” the ministry said in a statement.
The UAE Defence Ministry also denied media reports claiming that Al Minhad Air Base in Dubai had been targeted by missiles.
