Iran President Declares Victory Over US, Says World Has Accepted It

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said the world has accepted that Iran won its war with the United States, calling for the conflict to end.

According to Iran’s state news agency IRNA, Pezeshkian said on Friday that “the entire world approved our victory and the U.S. is hated.”

His remarks came as the administration of US President Donald Trump stepped up its economic pressure campaign against Iran, describing it as an “economic D-Day” aimed at forcing Tehran to abandon its nuclear programme.

Washington has also demanded that Iran fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a vital global shipping route for oil and natural gas tankers.

Pezeshkian’s comments reflect Tehran’s portrayal of the conflict as a victory for Iran, despite Washington’s claims that its pressure campaign has severely weakened the Iranian government.

Iranian authorities have repeatedly framed their confrontation with the United States as a struggle in which Tehran has resisted American demands and emerged victorious.
